free online web based FTP client
BossFTP is a web based FTP client written in PHP, inspired by File Manager v2 and v3 of cPanel. You can manage your FTP server fast and easily through a common browser such as FireFox or Internet Explorer.
- Browse folder
- Create new folder, file
- Extract (unzip) file
- Upload file and extract (.zip only)
- Download file from www and extract (.zip only)
- Search for items with file name, type, mode, location
- Rename, chmod, copy, move, delete, zip (into .zip), calculate size of multi items
- Edit (with textarea or CodePress) and save file
- Zip, zip and mail, zip and send to new FTP server file, folder
- Send file to an email or new FTP server
- Download file through BossFTP or your FTP server
- Duplicate (make a copy of) a folder, file Feature
- Work underground: BossFTP will work until the long and heavy tasks completed or max execution time exceeded. BossFTP will make a report in report file.
- @w3: Your FTP server / web server must support PHP script. BossFTP upload a .php file as @w3 path, and then call @w3 url, and your web server will run that script. This feature is used to W3Download, Upload (only extract), Chmod, Delete, Zip, Duplicate, Multi Zip, Extract.
- Edit FTP info: Click Option to re-enter your FTP info (FTP Server, user name, password,...). For security purpose, BossFTP won't display the original password. If you don't re-enter the password, the old password saved in your PC will be used.
- On-the-fly data compression: This is an extension of FTP. It will compress data before sending it to FTP client, so you can get a 3 - 4 times higher speed!
